Jim Unwin
Recording Producer
Jim Unwin is an internationally active producer, engineer, and editor, specialising in classical music. He has worked with many of the world’s leading artists and composers, including the Brodsky Quartet, Michael Collins, Tasmin Little, Elin Manahan Thomas, and John Rutter, and is regularly engaged by leading arts organisations such as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh National Opera.
Recent highlights include the production of a 72-speaker sound installation at Descanso Gardens (Los Angeles) in collaboration with composer Peter Wyer, as well as work with Welsh actor Iwan Rheon on his solo album Dinard.
Alongside his production work, Jim is also active as a songwriter, composer, and sound designer, with credits including the BBC, Sky, and Disney.
He holds a BMus from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (specialising in clarinet performance), and an MA in Audio Production from the University of Westminster, London.
