Florian Leonhard Fine Violins: International Presentation & Documentary Production

The Knight Classical team was engaged by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins as strategic consultants to augment the international presentation of the company’s work – in particular its celebrated True Copy instruments.

Already widely recognised for its world-leading expertise in restoration, authentication, and instrument sales, the objective was to further articulate the craftsmanship, knowledge, and precision underpinning the company’s new making practice, presenting it internationally to artists, orchestras, and institutions at the highest level.

Documentary film

We produced a 20-minute documentary profiling Florian Leonhard in his dual role as expert craftsman and leading entrepreneur. The film also explored the philosophy and technical methodology behind the True Copy approach.

The documentary was streamed live during the finals of the International Tchaikovsky Competition on medici.tv, placing the company before a significant global audience of musicians and industry professionals. It remains available within medici.tv’s video-on-demand catalogue and is also accessible via YouTube.

Digital assets

In parallel, the team created a suite of audio-visual materials for social media and digital usage, translating the depth and detail of the company’s work into concise formats suited to contemporary platforms.

International outreach
