Expertise:

Knight Classical produced a performance film of When One Man Dies, a contemporary choral anthem by Sir James MacMillan, commissioned and premiered by the Choir of New College (University of Oxford).

Setting text by John Donne, the work explores themes of mortality and faith within a liturgical framework. The filmed performance features the Choir of New College Oxford conducted by Robert Quinney, with Dónal McCann on organ.

We led the filming and audio capture process, ensuring clarity of choral texture and sensitivity to the architectural and acoustic character of the chapel setting. The resulting film serves as a refined digital document of a significant contemporary choral work, supporting ongoing dissemination and long-term artistic presentation for both the repertoire and the Choir of New College Oxford.
